Минусы Telepathy KDE налицо: с темной темой KDE темы adium в конференциях выглядят ужасно. К самим конфам фиг подключишься. Настроек катастрофически мало. Ну и общая недопиленность сказывается. Хотя это ужасно клево: IM прямо на панели, ростер очень выглядит симпатишно.

aseigo: it isn't "KDE 5", it's our Frameworks 5. apps and workspaces are not (yet) part of the 5.x plans. later, when Frameworks nears
aseigo: one more reason, btw, that "KDE is the community, not the software" is important: we can take on these kinds of changes more easily.

В kde-docs продолжает писать албанец (#sozfg, #stzsn). На этот раз — с мануалом как .po превратить в HTML или PDF. Внезапно, затея довольно годная: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/RenderKDEDocs

тот чувак из Албании беспощаден в желании помочь. теперь он рассмотрел Lokalize со всех сторон и выдвинул ряд предложений. читаю и умиляюсь:

Там же в группах плазмы есть еще и Search&Launch, мегаудобная вещь, особенно, если повесить Show Desktop на какой-нить неиспользуемый Screen Edge. Но я хочу теперь посмотреть на гном, ну хотя второй, и сравнить функциональность.

На самом деле в плазме наворочено столько, что без пол-литра не поймешь. например, в плазме можно создать "Stacking Group". По идее это нечто, где можно создать виджеты как бы древовидно.
